4th time

So I went this afternoon, he was busy today! But everything went ok. I was having trouble relaxing this time though and none of the needles really hurt today. I counted to over a 1000 this time. Also he gave me pills to take instead of drinking that nasty tea. So it should be a lot easier now. He is out of the office for the holidays so I dont go back until Jan. 6th. So thats about it, Merry Christmas!

I was supposed to have an appt. this morning but I canceled because we are having freezing rain. I really didnt want to get Izzy out in this weather. But I got up early and everything. So now I have an appt. tomorrow at 4pm. I am hoping to keep that appt. We are going to church tomorrow night for the christmas service.

So I went..blah blah blah. It actually was alright today. I got pretty relaxed but when I was on my stomach he put one in my foot that hurt really bad. Its still sore right now. While he was out of the room I decided to count numbers to not think about anything else and to just completely relax. I got to 703 before he came back in and took the needles out. Then on my side I got to 775 before he came back in. This time while on my side he put two in my stomach, it was wierd but those didnt hurt. There are a few spots that are sore right now. Also I told him I wasnt drinking the tea so I am going to bring it back to him and he said he can make it in pill form. I told him thats a whole lot better! So I go back on tuesday at 1030am. so yea Im glad I am home so I headed to take a hot bath and we are supposed to take Isabell to see Santa today...

I dont want to go! Its early and its cold outside. I really dont have the energy to go. I want to stay all snuggled in here at home. Plus my upper back is so incredibly sore from my massage last night. But Im gonna go since I feel bad for canceling twice this week. But just so you all know, I am going kicking and screaming...lol dangit....this so better help...

Dang BJ! He was supposed to call and wake me up at 830am but didnt call until 930. So yea there was no way I could get up and get ready and get the baby up and ready in 30 minutes! So he called to reschedule my appt. for tomorrow at 1030! I have to make it tomorrow. I feel bad about canceling twice this week but hey thats what happens when you have a child..lol. But my upper back has been hurting a lot worse. I have an hour long massage tonight!! I cannot wait. I have never had an hour one. It prolly will be hard to drive home afterwards..lol

I had an appt. this morning but I canceled it. It was icy weather a bit and just down right cold outside! Also I got up at like 6am in pain so I finally dozed back off around 10ish and the appt. was at 1030am. So my next one is friday morning.

Also an update with the tea, yea I have only had one glass a day and nothing today at all. It is so overwhelmingly (is that a word?) gross so I just cant bring myself to drink it. I will try to drink of much of it as I can since my mom did pay $70 for the nasty stuff so I think its the least I can do. So I will update after my appt. on friday!

2nd time

Today December 12th I went again. I was a little more nervous this time because I knew what to expect and some hurt! I layed on my tummy and I counted this time it was close to 30 needles! None of these hurt to bad this time but my face was really uncomfortable the way I was laying on the table. So I was having a hard time staying still but if you even slightly move you feel pressure from ALL the needles at once. So yea dont move! Then I layed on my side and he did another 10, I was so afraid of my hand one again but suprisingly that one didnt hurt this time. I also got the herbal tea today. I have to drink it 3 times a day. I think I am only going to do this one week because its gross and hard to drink! But from now on I am planning on going twice a week and hopefully will see some kind of results in a few weeks.

A funny story about the tea, I didnt know any better! Its not in liquid form and not leaves either, its just all this stuff and you have to boil it on the stove and them strain it. Keep in mind I have never done this before. So I go to strain it , I put the strainer in the sink and I just poured it in! After about 2 seconds I realized what I did and me and BJ laughed so hard for about 5 minutes or so. So I wasted that one batch...lol

First time

So I finally decided to try this whole accupuncture thing. I went on wednesday December 10th. Me and the doctor talked for a bit and after that and him feeling my pulse he tells me that I have poor circulation(which I have kinda already know, my hands and feet are always so cold), my kidneys arent functioning right(also makes a little sense, I had lots of problems as a child), and my spleen is damaged. So he would like me to come in 3times a week and drink herbal tea to help. So we did the accu. and at first I layed on my stomach and he put I would say from about 20-30 needles all down me. Most were fine and didnt hurt but some were pretty intense pressure. Then I had to stay still for about 15 min. I was pretty relaxed and comfy. Then I had to lay on my right side and he did about 10 more needles. A few of these really hurt and one was in my hand. Afterwards I was pretty sore on a lot of the places.

I am willing to try this but I will say I really hope I see some change for the better. This is not a fun thing to do and is pretty uncomfortable so if Im going through it, please work!
